If you have problems remembering things then my advice to you is to start writing them down on pieces of paper. Although I've lost track of how many bits of paper I've lost, which is why I now have pieces of paper reminding me to look for stray pieces of paper.
The other thing you could do is check out Quick Memo.
It's incredibly simple, probably too simple. All you need to do is add new memo entires such as pick the kids up from school, take out the rubbish (garbage), eat food, drink drink.
Then check back as many times as it takes to stop you from forgetting. You can add entries to and delete from a long list as often as you wish.
